Nutshell London Nutshell London was a Persian/Iranian restaurant located in the heart of London's West End on Saint Martin’s Lane. The restaurant featured modern Iranian cuisine and boasted an impressive wine selection, including their certified organic Deep Down Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand. In addition to their regular menu items, Nutshell celebrated their third birthday with a Summer Menu that showcased some of their favourite dishes from the past three years. Unfortunately, after two and a half years of operation, Nutshell London has been permanently closed.

Our new vegan and waste free Kofte Bademjan, our take on a classic Iranian dish; ready in time to feature as a part of our Nutshell Valentine’s Menu.

Our new smoked aubergine and celeriac kofte, with burnt tomato puree and a beautiful zesty clementine sauce. We use British heritage tomatoes and it’s part of further focus on locally sourced, sustainable and low waste menu. There is nothing going to waste producing this dish. Every part of every ingredient is used in our restaurant. Even the clementine peels are dehydrated and used in the puree as well as other dishes and drinks.

Our hearts go to all our colleagues across the country who have been left with no choice but to close their businesses during what was to be a season of celebrations and the busiest month of the year. 💔

We will remain open until Thursday the 23rd of December with our usual hours and reopen from 26th to 27th for dinner and 28th to 29th for lunch and dinner. And then back to usual hours again from Tuesday the 4th of January. So, if you’re around, we would love to have you with us.

We wish you all the happiest of holidays and hope for a much happier year in 2022. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support we have been receiving from you amazing people. 💚
