When we put the Christmas tree up in Cent Anni in early December the world was a different place, the world has changed, but we haven’t, we are still the same local neighbourhood Italian restaurant now as we were then.

We are determined to stay open for as long as we can and, in doing so, give every household in the neighbourhood the opportunity to still dine out, but from the safety of their own home.

You can order on line from Deliveroo and have your order delivered to your front door or, if you prefer, you can call the restaurant with your order ( 020 3971 9781 ) and collect it, with the bonus of being able to take advantage of the following offers not available on Deliveroo:

As from Friday 20th March at 10.00pm Cent Anni, in line with the Government directive, has temporarily closed its doors for all “ in house “ dining until further notice.

However, we will, as long as practically possible, be operating a pick up service. We will also, from Monday 23rd March, be available via Deliveroo on line. Our phones will be manned from mid day and we will continue to take orders until 8.00pm in the evening.

It is going to be a tough 12 weeks for everyone but self imposed isolation is a small price to pay to keep both yourself and your family safe and well.

Since we opened in the village 10 months ago we have always thought of ourselves as your local neighbourhood Italian and nothing during this current crisis will change that, if there is anything we can do to help, we will.

Stay well, stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back to Cent Anni with open arms in the not too distant future.

Cent Anni newsletter November 2019

So, that’s our first six months gone and it has been a bit of a whirlwind!

We had barely opened our doors and Wimbledon fortnight was upon us, what a shock to the system that was!! However, with a lot of hard work from the staff we got through it, and thanks to an ever increasing loyal Village following we are going from strength to strength. Thank you to everyone for supporting us.

Christmas is just around the corner and we are getting ready to celebrate, however before that there is a lot happening at Cent Anni.

We launched our new seasonal menu last week, think chilli meatballs, Chianti braised beef short ribs, wild mushroom risotto......

Our ever changing two course set lunch, at £14.50, is proving to be very popular, as well as our Italian Sunday roast, porchetta with crispy crackling, or half roast chicken, which we introduced a couple of weeks ago to coincide with the onset of the colder weather, and at £16/£15 they are also proving popular.

My vision for Cent Anni when we opened was to be the local Italian in the village, not somewhere you went for special occasions or only at the weekend but somewhere you could just pop in and have a pizza or a plate of pasta and a glass of wine rather than going home to cook. To that end, from Tuesday 19th November, I am introducing Pasta Tuesday, have a plate of any of our handmade fresh pasta and a glass of wine for only £15.

I would like to finish this inaugural newsletter by wishing all of our customers, current and future, an amazing Christmas, hope to see you soon at your local Italian.
