Pomo is 14 🥳🎈🎂🎁
on April 2nd 2012 I opened the page of my little adventure to start promoting my monthly Italian Supper Clubs.
I used to share a big 3 storey house with many people in Queens Park and once a month I would set up the big living room to host random strangers and feed them regional Italian recipes, made vegan.
A couple of years later I would set up my first ever market stall in Duke of York Square, followed by a whole summer in Camden Market, 3 full years inside Boiler House in Brick Lane and finally with , who I’ve been trading with for the past 8 years 💚
during these 14 years I met a lot of friends, hosted supper clubs and cooking lessons, cooked many many burgers, took my business to the US twice, survived a failed crowdfunding campaign, survived a pandemic, travelled all over the UK, changed direction when business was in trouble. I had many people helping me along the way, but it’s always been just me making the big decisions and spending hours in the kitchen.
Today Pomo is flourishing like never before and I’ve never been prouder of what this little silly Italian has achieved.
Thank you for being on this journey with me ❤️

it’s 🧡
Pomo’s KIMCHI is always in our top 3 best sellers and I couldn’t be more proud, as I’m obviously not Korean 😅
as I always explain to whoever asks why it’s sold on an Italian Deli stall, I started making kimchi back when I was still doing hot food and burgers, as a main component of my Gangnam Burger 😍
since then people started asking to buy more on the side and then if they could buy jars of it.. that’s how it all started 🥰
I never come back home from markets with a jar left and even tough it requires time and patience, it’s such a pleasure to have so many people coming back weekly for it 🧡

the 2016 trend I didn’t want to jump on, but pride made me to. yes, because 2016 WAS THE YEAR for Pomo: the big growth, the infinite queues for burgers, the non stop growing followers, the connections with chefs, bloggers and vegans all over the world, the mentions in newspapers, my first van, the collabs and pop ups.
everything Pomo is today has its roots in that amazing 2016 and I’ll be forever grateful for building my business before veganism went mainstream 🫶🏻💚

it’s a wrap 🎀
it’s been an incredible year for Pomo Deli and this weekend was the 🍒 on a beautiful cake I’ve been building up for the past two years.
the hugs, the kind words and the smiles of all my regulars over the weekend are the reason why I can bake for 17 hours non stop and sleep 3 hours a night for 3 consecutive days 🥹
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart: to for hosting me and my food for the past 8 years, to the fellow traders, to my amazing partner Joris who’s always working million hours a week to help me when I need it, to all my customers who makes this dream of mine reality.
see you under that canopy in 2026
❤️🎀

last weekend ❤️
if you’ve been watching my stories yesterday, you know that’s been a busy week for me, topped with a 17 hours shift in the kitchen yesterday, which brought me to bake 77 PANETTONI 😱
so here I am, sipping coffee after 3 hours sleep posting pictures with no filters, stuff I captured quickly while I was on my feet yesterday.
because most days I miss those early days of instagram when we all posted raw pictures of our lives to share with our friends 🥲🫶🏻
see you at our usual markets this weekend: Joris and i are exhausted but would love to see you one more time before the holidays ❤️
