Yesterday I delivered a wedding tasting box.
Today I’ve been sent the most beautiful photos from a wedding I worked on last year : layers of white and green, soft textures, everything feeling calm and intentional.
It felt like a quiet reminder of why I love this part of the work.

Hello 2026 🤍
It’s been a quiet start over here, and with all that has been going on in the world it has felt important to take a step back and be intentional.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, I’ve added a small, pared-back selection to the website — pieces designed for slower mornings and sharing something sweet without overdoing it.
Think breakfast treats, and a few heart-shaped desserts for those who like to mark the moment and some catering items for those who want to gather with their loved ones.

Christmas hasn’t even arrived yet… but I know some of you like to plan just a little ahead!
While the next few days are all about family, rest and good food, I’ve quietly opened a small New Year’s Eve collection for those thinking about hosting or bringing something special along to a a celebration.

This should have been one of my recipe-test Sundays, but I’ve actually finished the Christmas menu early , and then i was waiting for Black Friday etc to be over…
I can finally share one of the prettiest additions to the range: the Frosted Zefir Flower Box.
Zefir is a traditional Eastern European confection with a beautifully light, marshmallow-like texture. It’s usually made with fruit purée and mine have a gentle apple note that keeps them soft, fragrant and not overly sweet. They’re arranged into a little edible garden and packed carefully by hand. These will be available as a collection-only gift from the Christmas page.
You might remember I tested a version of Gingy right at the start of this season, and he’s found his way into the final menu alongside other favourites. A few items will also be available for postal delivery, so there’s something for everyone.

This should  have been Week 5 of Recipe Test Sunday… but I’ve gone ahead and finalised the Christmas menu.

One of the key additions this year is the Frosted Zefir Flower Box – a beautiful and thoughtful dessert. I’ll share it in its own post next week because it deserves its moment.

Week four of Christmas menu testing, and today’s creation is a little festive, a little indulgent, and absolutely not for the kids:
Chocolate & Baileys Cinnamon Rolls.
Soft, enriched dough rolled with cocoa, cinnamon, a touch of espresso for depth, and just enough sugar to balance — not overwhelm.
Once baked, they’re finished with a silky Baileys cream that melts into all the swirls. Gentle sweetness, warm spice, and that unmistakable Irish cream aroma… it’s comfort with a festive wink.

To get to Foxley Lane in Purley, you can take the train to Purley station which is served by Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express. From the station, head toward Brighton Road and turn left onto Russell Hill Road. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout, then take the second exit onto Foxley Lane. If you prefer to drive, there are parking lots located on Foxley Lane or nearby streets that offer free parking for up to two hours. Alternatively, if you want to use public transport but don't want to take the train, you can take the bus number 60 or 166 from Croydon towards Epsom and alight at Purley Oaks Station which is just a few minutes walk from Foxley Lane.
