Last week, our mischievous Fursty Ferret found itself on national news when The King and Queen visited the Badger Brewery in Blandford ahead of our 250th birthday next year. While Queen Camilla watched on, King Charles stepped behind the bar, pulled himself a pint and, with England freshly out of the World Cup, remarked that it was "a good day to drown a few sorrows".

We won't comment on the football.
But we will give one lucky winner a year's supply of Fursty Ferret.

A proud moment for our Head Chef, Vlad, who had the honour of meeting Their Majesties The King and Queen during their visit to the Hall & Woodhouse Badger Brewery in Dorset, celebrating the beginning of the brewery's 250th anniversary.

As part of the visit, Their Majesties met members of the Woodhouse family, long-standing team members, and a number of the brewery's current chefs and brewing apprentices. They also unveiled a commemorative plaque marking Hall & Woodhouse's remarkable 250-year history.

We're incredibly proud to see Vlad representing our kitchen and being part of such a historic occasion. A day to remember and a fantastic recognition of the dedication and passion of the entire team.

Anthony Woodhouse, our Executive Chairman, and his son Matt, Head of Marketing & Hospitality - father and son, working the same trade, generations apart.

Tuesday we had our 1st London Charity Walk and we raised an amazing £600! 🎉
We're already looking forward to next year's one. There was loads of walking involved, a couple of pints here and there 🍻, and lots of sharing, talking, and laughs along the way.
It was really good fun! It took us a bit longer than we thought... I think we may have stopped in too many pubs 🤣, but hey, we had fun and we raised money for a great cause.
