Grape, green tea and tonic on the softs
This little creation is our non-alcoholic sparkling wine alternative. We get beautiful white grape juice from one of our wine producers .wine and infuse it over night with green tea from .
This and the tonic really help to add some dryness to the sweet grape. And the grape and green tea make a magical pairing. ✨

We are having a bit of a banana moment with our desserts right now.
This is our banana custard brioche, a nod towards the tarte saint tropez. We have taken our donut dough and adapted it a bit, covered it in almonds and put it in our (brand new) oven ☺️
It’s then cut in half and filled with banana custard and sliced bananas and honestly it is just bonkers delicious

did you know we serve very lovely teas? ☕️
This, like almost everything at the restaurant, is something very personal to us.
As one of the first jobs we had after arriving to London from Cornwall, Tom and I both worked at , Tom was downstairs making cakes and pastries and I was upstairs cooking the breakfast and lunches. There we were introduced to who we immediately fell in love with. We used one of their teas for an ambient tea pairing at our first supper club in 2016 and have had their teas on our menu since we opened.
We had an amazing team at prufrock and also met our friend Andy who is one half of , and supplies the beans for our delicious filter coffee.
As we are now open Friday and Saturday daytimes it’s the perfect time for these drinks to come into their own. Pop in and see us for a cuppa or a filter coffee 💛

I am really excited to be making cider a bigger part of what we do.
We have had large format cider and Perry bottles on our menu since we opened 6 years ago. Growing up in Cornwall and spending time drinking cider in Brittany has meant it is a special product to me.
When we opened the restaurant I looked for ways that I could give my guests the same sort of experience I had had, with a bottle of cider on the table, shared like wine and treated with the same respect.
I came across which was exactly what I was looking for, and since then they have been connecting us with the amazing cider and perry producers in this country.
I have a lot to say about cider, but I think it is important to know that in this country for something to be called cider it only has to contain 30% apple juice, the rest is sugar and water. This gives us a pretty skewed idea of what cider is and can be.
All the ciders and perrys we serve are 100% fruit and thoughtfully made by people with a passion for the craft.
I always think it’s the perfect thing if you are looking for something complex and delicious but with a lighter abv, great for a sunny lunch!
So we have two bottles by the glass for you on the new menu and this is one of them.
The producers , aside from being thoroughly lovely people, push the boundaries of cider making - inspired, in part, by the rise of natural wines.
This is their ‘orange cider’ a still, dry cider, wild fermented and made from a single variety of apple - the dabinett - it is a homage to skin contact wine. Beautifully balanced with lively acidity and food-friendly tannins. Very very more-ish!
I was delighted that it was such a popular choice this past weekend and am looking forward to giving more people the opportunity to try this delicious drink 😇

These beautiful little parcels of joy are our almond and artichoke agnolotti. In a silky, roasted tomato butter they feel super indulgent and are also the perfect comfort food.

Really lovely to have guests in during the day, and the big news over here is that we have an oven! After managing without one for 5 years. I am ridiculously excited!

I’m in the process of building a whole new drinks menu over here for 56Goro bar…full of vibes of nostalgia and holidays in the sun⛱️
This is the gin and it, a super classic cocktail that i heard the name of a lot when I was younger. I always thought it was my nan’s favourite drink, but I have recently found out I was remembering that wrong and it was my nan’s dad’s favourite drink haha. It seemed very glamorous to me when I heard about it, conjuring European rivieras or something from a fancy dinner party.
It is somewhere between a negroni and a martini, equal parts gin and sweet Italian vermouth, the trick is blending the right gin with the right vermouth to get a smooth aromatic drink. Anyway I am obsessed with it right now and it is on the new menu, so you best come down and try it before I drink it all!
Open this week. Thursday from 6pm, Friday and sat from 12pm. I think it’s going to be warm so our garden will be open 🌿☀️🕶️

We are excited to announce that naïfs will be doing something a bit different this spring.
For the next 3 months naïfs will become 56GoRo bar. A wine, cider and food bar at our premises at 56 Goldsmith Road.
This will be a day to night space owing a loving debt to Japanese izakayas, German kneipes and Portuguese snack bars with our love for vegetables and vegan food still taking precedence.
You can expect:
The same quality and care that you know us for, a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere that we all deserve nowadays, outdoor seating when the weather is good and a curated food offering of al a carte dishes.
Bookings for lunch and dinner are now open on Fridays and Saturdays starting next week, and we will be open Thursday evenings from the 9th of April onwards.
We are really looking forward to mixing things up a bit and will have more information to you over the next few days.
Thanks for always sticking with us, we are so grateful for the trust and friendship of our lovely guests 😚

we are back! Open tomorrow evening from 6pm.
We will be running a set menu (subject to the odd change from what you see here) for the next two weeks - up to the end of march. Then there is change upon the horizon…. 🌅
We will update by the beginning of next week on the exact nature of this change, but we are really looking forward to mixing things up a bit.
This last week was spent getting the outside ready for the warm weather 🤞and doing a spot of redecorating and it’s all looking super fresh 🌱
Thanks to our hardworking team who swapped their aprons for overalls and helped us transform the place.
If you’re keen on trying the set before it disappears I’d get those bookings in quick 😉

We have a very special dish on the mains right now.
These beautiful leek and almond tortelloni are made fresh for service and come with a silky parsley root sauce, grilled baby king oysters and a Jerusalem artichoke crumb.
They are a labour of love but the result is so worth it!
We have some tables left this Friday for anyone who needs cheering up in this gloomy weather.
Swipe for the full menu.

🥳 Naïfs turned 6 on Saturday 🥳
We have made it through another year! As usually we marked it in a very minimal way, but did manage to raise a glass with our wonderful team who we love and appreciate so much 🧡 (shout out to Kat who is missing from this pic)
Thank you to everyone who has come in and supported us over the years. The lovely community who are part of this experience is what keeps us going in uncertain times, and nothing brings us more joy than people having a nice time in the space we have created. 🥹🥰 Thank you for being on this journey with us
