Kazandibi is a dessert born from a happy accident. Legend has it that a milk pudding was accidentally overcooked, resulting in a caramelized base that turned out to be even more delicious than expected. This rich, golden layer became the signature of this unique dessert.
At Rüya London, our version of Kazandibi is served with caramelized milk pudding, topped with crunchy nuts, fresh berries, and complemented by cinnamon ice cream—giving this classic a fresh, modern twist.
