Who doesn’t love a toastie after a night of celebrating?
This weekend we had the pleasure of catering for the lovely Rose and Duncan, and what a brilliant wedding it was.
As the dancing got into full swing, we brought out the late-night toasties and they went down an absolute storm.
Cheese and chutney, cheese and Marmite, and of course the classic two cheese toastie. Simple, comforting and exactly what everyone fancied after a few hours on the dance floor.
It’s those little touches that can make a wedding really memorable, and we absolutely loved being part of Rose and Duncan’s special day.

WHO SAYS YOUR WEDDING DESSERT HAS TO BE A WEDDING CAKE?
When Rose & Duncan were planning their special day, they decided to do something a little different — and we absolutely loved the idea!
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, they asked us to create something that would really wow their guests…
So we went BIG!
**A HUGE 1-METRE-WIDE HOMEMADE TIRAMISU!**
Made **fresh on site by our team**, this wasn’t just any tiramisu. It was created especially for their wedding, beautifully finished with cocoa and decorated with delicate flowers, making it a real centrepiece for the celebration.
But we didn’t stop at the giant tiramisu…
Once it was time to serve, we transformed this incredible dessert into individual **martini glasses**, giving every guest their own elegant serving.
And the reaction?
**They absolutely loved it!**
In fact, the dessert was so special that it brought the bride to **happy tears** and honestly, moments like that are exactly why we love what we do.

There’s something pretty special about serving food on a wedding day.

For the gorgeous wedding of Jonathan and Konstantina, we served our Filet Mignon Beef Wellington, paired with crispy Boulangère potatoes and a rich Madeira sauce.
Tender beef, golden crispy potatoes and that deep, rich Madeira sauce… proper wedding food with a touch of elegance.

When the temperatures are soaring, keeping hydrated is serious business... or at least that's what the kitchen crew keep telling us while stopping for "just one more" cold drink!
Caught in the act, the boys are making sure they're staying fuelled, hydrated and keeping the banter flowing through one of the hottest summers we've seen.

A bit of a blast from the past.
I came across this photo today and it brought back a few memories.
The wooden boards running down the tables were all made by my Dad. They were his idea and were made specifically for us to use as sharing starter boards.
We lost Dad four years ago.
It’s strange the little things that can make you think of someone, but knowing that these boards are still being used at events today makes me smile.
I’m pretty sure Dad would have loved that.
He made them for us, and all these years later they’re still doing exactly what he made them for.

There’s nothing better than hearing that the food went down a treat.
A lovely 5-star review from Zoelee after we provided drop-off catering for a funeral.
She said everyone loved the food, with lots of guests asking where it had come from. Our sandwiches were a particular favourite!
