Congratulations to Vimla & Andrew who celebrated their wedding yesterday at Luigi’s Italian restaurant in Gants Hill.
I do love the combination of hexagonal and round cakes. The bottom and middle tiers were lemon & elderflower, the top-tier was egg-free chocolate and there was also a rich fruit cake cutting cake.

Huge congratulations to Jasminder & Prabhdeep who celebrated their wedding today at beautiful Ditton Manor.
4 tier, all-white wedding cake, with tiers of lemon & elderflower, champagne & strawberry and chocolate & caramel. Sooooo many ruffles and lots of hand-made sugar flowers.

Following on from my charity raffle, the lovely winner picked up her prize today. As it was in benefit of a cat charity, I decided to make hand-piped cat paw print toppers! 🐾
Vanilla cupcakes filled raspberry jam, and topped with a vanilla buttercream swirl.

This isn’t just any hen-do cake… this is my daughter-in-law-to-be’s hen-do cake!! Gluten-free vanilla sponge with jam & buttercream, decorated with wafer paper ruffles. I’ve loved this decoration effect for a while, so jumped at the chance to have a go myself (seeing as the recent high temps put paid to a buttercream cake!
The theme of Ellie’s hen-weekend is “Bride, for good”, hence the inscription!

My eldest son & Lucinda met on the school bus on their first day at secondary school and have remained friends ever since.
So it was a pleasure and honour to be asked to make her wedding cake (and my son was actually at primary school with Alex, her fiancé… now husband!!)
Traditional style buttercream cake, lemon & elderflower flavour.
