We are giving our lovely staff the chance to watch the final, we are shutting all of our restaurants at 6pm today. C’mon England!!🏴

Our third cocktail we are showcasing is the famous Singapore Sling!🥰
Ngiam Tong Boon was working The Long Bar, the number one watering hole in the city, located inside the famous Raffles Hotel. Singaporean etiquette dictated that women could not drink alcohol in public. So the ever insightful Ngiam saw a niche in the market.
He created a cocktail that looks like plain fruit juice, but infused with Gin and liqueurs. He gave the cocktail a pink hue using Cherry Liqueur and Grenadine to apply a ‘Feminine Flair,’ which together with the use of clear spirits led people to think it was a socially acceptable drink for women. This is where the Singapore Sling was created & became an instant hit! 🌸

Coming 2nd is the Bangkok Margarita, if you’re a tequila lover this one is for you!❤️
The Bangkok Margarita is inspired from the city’s fiery cuisine and tropical climate 🌴
The City’s eclectic street food culture smoky heat of red hot chili peppers with the sweet tang of tropical fruits which is a tribute to Bangkok’s rich tapestry of flavors.
Tampopo blended silver tequila, orange liqueur, smashed Pineapples, and sour lemon juice, we added some Thai Chilies for a spicy kick and rather inspiringly served it with a Shichimi Salted rim. Thus, out of a fusion of Thai spice and Japanese chilli, Bangkok’s own margarita was born.
Tampopo was inspired from Suwincha Singsuwan (Mixologist) and Bangkok as a city.

To celebrate World Cocktail on Monday 13th May, we are showcasing some of our fabulous cocktails at Tampopo! Coming first is the Korean Apple Sour.
The ‘Flavour of Korea’ has been inspired by ripe Korean apples, one of the most important fruits of Korean Culture, traditionally given as a gift in elaborately decorated boxes.
Tampopo combined pure apple soju and vodka with sweet apple juice and sour lemons, garnished with fresh apple slices and topped with a full bodied red wine float. Our creation, the Korean Apple Sour, is one of our most proud moments of ingenuity. 🍏
Tampopo was also inspired from Terry Kim (Mixologist).
You can also get the Korean Apple Sour in our Happy Hour of 2 for £15 everyday until 6pm (7pm Wimbledon) & after 9pm!
