It’s with a heavy heart to tell you we have had to close the doors of Donnelly’s at BBK with immediate effect. Yesterday being our last day of trade. We would like to say a huge thank you to all our loyal customers, supporters, friends and suppliers.
It’s been an uphill battle these last few years with rising costs of staffing, food and utilities, days of train strikes, and the covid hangover which ultimately has brought us to the end of an era.
We would like to say a big thank you to Bermondsey Bar & Kitchen, Merchant & Weaver and The Golden Goose for having us as your foodies .... these six years have flown by!l And I have some fabulous memories. I am gonna miss all of you ❤️❤️BBK ....it’s been a blast!
I am going to have a little break and a lot of sleep now, maybe do a few fun supper clubs over the summer, see if any friends’ kitchens need any help and spend a few months getting my cooking mojo back. Big love, James and the Donnelly’s team ❤️

New on our starter menu. These deliciously zingy, Tandoori-spiced wings with a lovely, fresh raita dressing. Puts a shine on Monday, yes?

So pretty! Arguably the best seat in the house. Come down for a good feed, a roast dinner and a cocktail. It's what Sundays are made for.
