A cake should tell their story... not just their age.
One of my favourite things about creating celebration cakes is weaving together all the little details that make someone uniquely them.
For this cake, every decoration represented something special to the birthday girl:

It's the little details that make a wedding unforgettable...
One of my favourite parts of this wedding wasn't the cake... it was creating these personalised cake pops to tell the couple's story.
Each design was created with a special guest in mind:
🤍 Elegant cake pop for the bride.
🤵 A design to represent the groom and groomsmen.
🌸 Pretty in pink for the bridesmaid.
🦄 And of course... fun unicorn cake pops to keep the little guests smiling!
To tie everything together, I took inspiration from the couple's stunning floral theme, adding tiny handcrafted flowers and delicate colours that complemented the wedding styling perfectly.
I love creating desserts that aren't just delicious but become part of the décor and the experience. When guests spot something made especially for them, it always brings a smile.
It's those thoughtful, personalised touches that turn a dessert table into a real talking point.

Wedding season is in full bloom... and every delivery tells a story.
One weekend, the first of three wedding deliveries, and this elegant beauty made its way to London Victoria to become part of a couple's special day.
There's something so timeless about an ivory wedding cake. At first glance, it may seem simple, but this design is anything but. Every individual blossom was hand-cut, shaped and carefully placed to create a soft cascade of delicate flowers wrapping around both tiers. The personalised initials added the perfect finishing touch, making the cake uniquely theirs.
I love creating cakes that don't need bold colours or extravagant details to make an impact. Sometimes, texture, craftsmanship and elegance say it all.
As wedding season continues, I feel incredibly lucky to play a small part in so many love stories, travelling near and far to deliver cakes that become part of memories that last a lifetime.

Sometimes it's the understated wedding cakes that leave the biggest impression.
After delivering one wedding cake to Gosport, I was back on the road and heading to my old hometown of Croydon for the next one.
There was something rather lovely about returning to my old road to meet my client for the cake handover. Not only did I get to deliver a beautiful wedding cake, but I also managed to catch up with a few old neighbours along the way. It felt like a little trip down memory lane.
This cake proves that elegance doesn't have to shout.
The crisp white finish created the perfect canvas for the vibrant florals, whose rich pinks, and purple brought just the right amount of colour to the wedding table. Sometimes, it's those subtle touches that create the most striking designs.
And then there was the inside...
Instead of traditional sponge, this couple chose something packed with flavour and meaning, a beautifully rich, moist Caribbean Rum Cake. It's always a joy when couples personalise not only the outside of their cake but the flavours too, creating something that reflects their tastes and heritage.
Every wedding cake tells a story, and this one was a lovely reminder that sometimes the most elegant designs hold the richest surprises within.
