Join us on Tuesday 19th May for an Asparagus Dinner hosted by Executive Head Chef Alex 🍽
Celebrate Spargelzeit with an evening of “weisses Gold” (“white gold”), where our Chef-led dinner showcases the finest white asparagus of the season – meticulously peeled, prepared, and presented across four courses.
Each dish is thoughtfully paired with Austrian and German wines, chosen to complement this celebrated spring ingredient. The evening begins with a welcome Monkey 47 cocktail with an asparagus twist, setting the tone for what’s to come.

In the late 1800s, the first women stepped quietly into gymnasiums once reserved for men, challenging tradition with their every movement. It was their courage which laid the foundation for generations of female athletes today.
Housed in London’s former German Gymnasium, originally built in 1865 as England’s first purpose-built gymnasium, our walls echoed with the discipline and determination of these early female sporting pioneers.
This Women’s Day, we honour the women who transformed strength into legacy and who continue to inspire artistry, resilience, and expression in every form.
Prost!

German restaurants are known for their hearty and flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. And German Gymnasium in King's Boulevard, London is no exception. This restaurant offers a wide range of Mittel-European cuisine that will leave you wanting more.
One of the things that sets German Gymnasium apart is its all-day Grand Café, which is perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family. The sophisticated first floor restaurant is also worth checking out, as it offers a more formal dining experience with impeccable service and an extensive wine list.
But perhaps the best part of German Gymnasium is its alfresco terrace dining area. Situated in the heart of King's Cross, this outdoor space provides a beautiful backdrop for enjoying your meal on a sunny day or warm evening.
