About US…

Osteria Wolf is a 50 cover neighbourhood restaurant situated on Stoke Newington High Street. We offer a modern British/Italian menu, that changes with the seasons.

Owned by a large Italian family, raised working on the family farm in the UK, we developed our love and passion for hospitality, high standard produce and bold drinks.

We utilise great quality products from both UK and Italy to create modern Italian with a twist.

Now in our 3rd year, we are growing our own produce and we are looking for the right candidate to help us drive our expanding offer.

The Role…

We are seeking an positive and outgoing Sous chef to join the team who needs to have passion for food, creative thinking and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain all steps in the Customer Service cycle

- Ensure all mise en place is completed before service

- Work to a timely and efficient manner

- Maintain a professional attitude at all times as we operate with open kitchens

- Ensure all guests have an enjoyable experience and request are catered to

- Work closely with and train brigade

- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met

- Assist in menu development

Key Skills:

- High level of understanding of Spoken and Written English

- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues

- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy

- Sense of urgency

- Can do attitude

- A genuine passion for food and beverage

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to help build and grow our small team.

The role:

· Offers a competitive salary

The ideal candidate:

· Has previous experience in a venue of a similar calibre

· Eats out on a regular basis & has a keen interest in hospitality

· Can train, motivate & engage a diverse team, delivering consistent quality however busy they are

· Is keen to expand their back of house skills, whilst retaining a commitment to the floor

Main Duties:

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of all staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant

· Maintains all steps of service and standards with each guest and employee they may come in contact with

· Builds relationships with guests to ensure future visits

· Oversee reservations, floor timing management, menus and seating charts

· Lead and inspire the staff to achieve, and ideally, exceed company goals

· Assist in the hiring, training, motivating, coaching of staff.

· Assist, lead and conduct effective and consistent training sessions and pre-shift sessions

· Resolve guest complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

· Responds to guests’ requests in an accurate and timely manner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience

· Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and order of the restaurant and equipment

Expected start date: ASAP

Salary: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Like everyone, we’ve been forced to adapt to the current climate. Ever changing rules and regulations make it almost impossible to go back to what we were but we’re using this as an opportunity to turn our space into something special.

We’ve been working hard to create a concept that not only allows us keep our doors open but to keep providing something of quality and integrity to our area. We hope you like it.

COMING SOON.... Bodega Wolf. We’ve got something very exciting hitting Stoke Newington High Street in the near future. Details are coming soon, but for the time being we’re open for a limited run of Supper Clubs. It’s been a tough few months with the doors shut at Wolf but we’re dusting off and coming back with a bang. Every Friday and Saturday (including tonight) we’ll be hosting a small number of tables for our weekly changing set menu on our new al fresco seating. Swipe for a cheeky peak of this week’s menu. Tables are limited so book in advance via email or online. Set menu options - 3 courses for £30 or 4 courses for £40. @ WOLF
