You might have seen a new face at Clipstone. Boz joined our front of house team a few weeks ago and has settled in effortlessly. Keep an eye out for his infectious smile!

Au Bon Climat need no introduction. Their Wild Boy Chardonnay ’19 is full and rich, toasty and buttery. A moreish, long finish with beautiful tropical fruit. Pouring by Coravin until it goes.

🍎Utopia ‘Patience’ Ice Cider 2019 ❄️

Rich caramel flavours with the acidity of a fresh green apple. Made from the orchards of South Moravia in the Czech Republic, there are no added sulphites or filtration before being aged in old oak casks.

What makes it ‘ice’, you ask? Like ice wine, the apples are left to freeze before pressing them. This produces a super concentrated juice with high residual sugar, and therefore a greater alcohol content than traditional cider.

Bergström Old Stones Chardonnay 2020

The baby sister of their revered Sigrid Chardonnay is impressive in her own right: well balanced oak and acidity, green apple and some lovely citrus into a long finish.

This has been a huge hit - catch it before it goes!

A delicious Vin de Savoie from builder-turned-winemaker Gilles Berlioz. He works old vines using biodynamic farming methods with the utmost respect for his local environment - harvesting by hand and horse, slowly pressing his grapes.

A blend of gamay and mondeuse (an indigenous Savoy grape) brings earthy flavours and aromas alongside red fruits, a bit of spice and good, fresh acidity. It pairs wonderfully with our partridge dish.
