To reach the lounge and British restaurant in Sandy Lane, Orpington via public transport, you could take a train to Orpington station, which is served by Southeastern Railways. From there, you can take buses 61 or R7 towards Coney Hall / West Wickham and get off at the Warren Avenue stop. Walk for about five minutes along Croydon Road and turn left onto Sandy Lane until you reach your destination.
If you choose to drive, you can park in the car park located next to the restaurant. To get there from London via the A21, take the exit towards Orpington and continue straight until you reach Court Road. Turn right onto Court Road and continue straight onto Shire Lane. Follow Shire Lane for about a mile until you see signs for Sandy Lane on your left-hand side. What people say
The Briar Lounge, located inside the health club on Sandy Lane, Orpington, is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious meal or refreshing beverage. Despite facing temporary closures due to government regulations, The Briar Lounge has always been committed to providing their customers with the best possible experience.
Their mouth-watering menu offers a range of British cuisine that is sure to satisfy any appetite. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, their 5-star afternoon tea is not to be missed. The Briar Lounge also offers an impressive selection of beverages, including hot drinks, soft drinks, smoothies and alcohol.
Although they had to temporarily close their doors due to government regulations earlier this year, The Briar Lounge was quick to reopen as soon as it was safe to do so. They have even adapted by offering a limited menu while things return back to normality.
It's clear that The Briar Lounge has built up a loyal customer base over the years and it's easy to see why. Their friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it the perfect spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxing meal alone. It's no wonder that so many people are sad to see them go after 19 years in business.
