Oktoberfest at The Rose and Crown 🇩🇪
The celebrations kick off on Friday 25th September and run for three days!
On Friday night only, we’ll have a live Oompah band bringing plenty of Oktoberfest atmosphere.
Come for one day or stay for the whole event — and don’t forget, lederhosen and dirndls are very much encouraged!

There’s still time to sign the VAT’s the Problem petition.
Hospitality businesses in the UK currently face a 20% VAT rate — one of the highest in Europe. By comparison, rates are much lower in countries including Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
Reducing VAT for hospitality would provide vital support for pubs, restaurants, cafés, hotels and the communities they serve.

To reach the British restaurant and gastropub located in Orpington, there are several options available for public transport. The closest train station is Orpington Station, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the venue. Alternatively, bus routes 61, 208, and R3 stop near the restaurant.
If traveling by car, take the A224 towards Orpington and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Orpington, turn onto High Street and continue straight until reaching a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Crown Lane and continue for about half a mile before turning left onto Old Hill. The restaurant should be visible from this point.
Parking is available on site at the venue or nearby in designated parking lots for visitors to Orpington town centre.
