"Nanna's Fig Jam"
When my Nan passed away just a few years ago I was fortunate enough to be left all her cookbooks and handwritten recipes, which really is a treasure trove of history and fond memories.
As a child when we visited her house with all the fruit trees in her small orchard, my mum and I would rush to our favourite. Mum's was always the gooseberries, mine was always the figs. I found the recipe she would make jam from in a very old cookbook I came into possession of and was touched that it even had my name written next to the particular recipe that I adored as a child.
We have mastered her jam (which really is more of a conserve) packed full of big chunks of figs and takes me right back to those innocent days of adolescence.
This jam will be making its debut on our menu this Sunday in Epsom

Had a day off and decided to feed ourselves with our own pizza of course. 😋😋
This baby is our version of a loaded Chicago style deep pan pizza.
Our Nonzarella from is not just stuffed into the crust, but generously spread between two layers of dough, before topping with our Tomato & Garlic sauce, Black Olives and topped with Fresh Basil. ✅

Our Simply Red, White & Green Frizza showcases our sister company 'Nonzarella' beautifully.
Gooey melted vegan mozzarella, with our rich garlicky tomato sauce and fresh basil takes these simple classic flavours to a whole new level inside our fluffy lightly fried pizza dough.
Vegan Fried Pizza=Frizza; as good as it sounds.
Our Nonzarella is also available in take home packs.

We finally made it down to in Bournemouth last week.
We don't say this just because the two boys who have created this restaurant are just fabulous, but this has been the best vegan restaurant we've ever eaten at. ✅
With dishes like King Oyster 'Scallops' and Chorizo and Marinated Balsamic Mushroom Bruschetta as starters, 'Fillet' served with a Blue Cheese Sauce and Fondant Potatoes for mains, to say we were impressed is an understatement.😋
Every single part of a dining experience has not been overlooked; from the bright light colourful interior with a comforting and relaxed vibe, down to the music played and even the bathrooms. Every detail has been carefully created to provide food at a fine dining level with service that matches equally.
The cocktail list is extensive and creative and needless to say, has the same 'wow factor' as its food counterpart.
Unfortunately we were too eager to dive straight into the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake that we had for dessert to get a picture before it was demolished.
I can't recommend this place high enough and we give it 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
