What people say

Chesham Arms is a pub and beer garden located in Mehetabel Road, London that has been restored to its former glory by owner Andy Bird. After undergoing a major renovation, this 150-year-old building has become a pearl of Hackney that showcases the finest of East London tastes and flavours. The pub offers a thirst-quenching array of London-centric real ales, award-winning local beers, French wines, and a huge specialist gin selection.

The interior of Chesham Arms is spectacularly refurbished with reclaimed vintage ash bar-top recycled alongside many old features. Some original Victorian wallpaper has been uncovered during the refurbishment process, and the beautiful restored original wooden floor won the day over internal battle between 60s carpeting. The pub also boasts two working fireplaces for those long winter nights and a large south-facing beer garden for the summer.

At the epicentre of the London brewing scene, Chesham Arms offers an ever-changing beer board with some familiar names on it. The pub's ambiance is perfect for good times with friends or family. It's no wonder that this vibrant spot in Hackney has become so popular among locals and visitors alike. If you're looking for an excellent place to enjoy great drinks and food while soaking up some history and culture, then Chesham Arms should be at the top of your list!
