🚨 QUIZ CANCELLED TONIGHT! 🚨
We were all set for our End of Summer Quiz tonight……but unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel.
When it comes to quizzes at The Heron, we’re really not having much luck! 😂
There are a couple of reasons we can’t go ahead tonight, but the main one is that our MC/Quizmaster has unfortunately had to pull out due to family reasons.
BUT…….we’re not giving up!
We are determined to get a proper regular quiz going at The Heron, so maybe it’s time we asked you lot:

Scott Burns has just kicked off LIVE at The Heron, bringing his laid-back renditions of all the hits from the 60s right through to today.
But don’t let the softer start fool you…….if you’ve seen Scott here before, you’ll know the tempo rises with every song until half the pub is up singing and dancing!

BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND AT THE HERON!
It’s nearly the weekend……which means it’s nearly time for our Bank Holiday celebrations in Paddington!
We’ve got THREE days of food, live music, drinks, dancing and a bit of friendly competition lined up at The Heron, Paddington.
SATURDAY – COMPLIMENTARY BBQ
We’re kicking things off with a COMPLEMENTARY BBQ from 5pm, but get down early because when it’s gone, it’s gone!
SUNDAY – LIVE MUSIC WITH SCOTT BURNS | 8PM
Scott Burns is back at The Heron! He’s played here a few times before and always raises the roof. His song repertoire is ridiculous, there’s very little you can throw at him that he doesn’t know!
Music starts at 8pm, but get in early if you want a seat…….although once the dancing starts, you probably won’t need one. 💃🕺
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY – END OF SUMMER QUIZ | 8PM
Right…….our previous two attempts at quizzes haven’t exactly set Paddington alight. 😂 So LET’S MAKE THIS ONE A GOOD ONE!

Thai food has been part of life at The Heron for many years, and that’s all thanks to our friends and restaurant partners downstairs at Thai Zapp. 🇹🇭
Thai Zapp is a separate business from the pub, and their team serve up fantastic, authentic Thai food packed with flavour and just the right amount of spice. Their downstairs restaurant is open daily from 12pm–9.30pm.
And the good news is, you don’t have to head downstairs to enjoy it! If you’re having a drink with us in the bar, you’re very welcome to order from the full Thai Zapp menu and enjoy your food at your table.
All we ask is that if you’re eating in the pub, you’re also enjoying a drink purchased from the bar, keeping both sides of the Heron family happy! 🍺🍜
So if you’ve never tried Thai Zapp before, give them a go. Great Thai food downstairs, a great little pub upstairs or enjoy a bit of both! 🍻

To get to the restaurant and pub at Norfolk Crescent in London, you can take public transportation via the Paddington or Lancaster Gate Underground stations. From Paddington station, head south on Praed Street towards London Street and turn left onto Spring Street. Turn right onto Sussex Gardens and then turn left onto Norfolk Place. Follow this road until you reach Norfolk Crescent.
If you are driving, there is limited street parking available near the restaurant and pub. Alternatively, there are several paid car parks in the area such as Green Parking at Porchester Terrace North or National Car Parks on Bishops Bridge Road.
