A proper bit of London pub history 🍻
Meet the The Chapel Market Tavern, sitting proudly at the western end of Chapel Market in Islington.
This pub dates all the way back to 1811, making it a Chapel Market staple for over 200 years.
The building has seen plenty of changes over the years, with previous lives including The Salmon & Compasses, The Joker of Penton Street, Hicce Hart and more, before becoming the Chapel Market Tavern in 2024.
Today, it’s all about great drinks, proper pub food and a rotating selection of craft beers, right in the heart of one of London’s oldest street markets.
A little bit of history, a lot of good times. Sounds like our kind of place.

Our four legged friend has been with us for 5 years now! She’s part of the team, part of the family and basically dictates her own walking schedule.
There’s dog cake on the way, so she’s already having a pretty good day!

To get to the Ravenswood Industrial Estate in London, you can use public transport or drive yourself.
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a tube on the Victoria line or Overground line and alight at Walthamstow Central station. From there, you can take a bus going towards the industrial estate.
Alternatively, if you plan to drive yourself, you should head towards the A406 North Circular Road and exit at Crooked Billet Roundabout. Then follow the signs for Ravenswood Industrial Estate where there is usually ample parking available.
