What people say

Indian restaurants are known for their rich and diverse flavors, and Masala Zone Covent Garden is no exception. This restaurant has gained widespread acclaim for its commitment to serving authentic Indian cuisine that is true to the flavors of India. The founders of Masala Zone, Ranjit Mathrani, Namita Panjabi, and Camellia, created this restaurant out of their passion for customers to enjoy proper Indian food as eaten by Indians daily in India.

Masala Zone Covent Garden is a halal restaurant that also caters to vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant has been rated as one of London's best Indian restaurants by the Evening Standard. With seven locations across London, each restaurant strives to present real Indian cuisines with friendly service and strong design.

The name "Masala" means spice - the very heart and soul of Indian cooking. What sets Masala Zone apart from other Indian restaurants is their unique approach to selecting key spices from the best spice farms in India after the spice harvest. These spices are then shipped to London where they are used in a carefully orchestrated sequence to create dishes that are bursting with flavor.

The team at Masala Zone has spent 30 years combing through the sources of the best Indian food – from regional kitchens of gourmet homes, street stalls, and Maharaja’s palaces. This dedication shows in every dish they serve.

Overall, Masala Zone Covent Garden is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic taste of India in London. From their commitment to using high-quality ingredients to their dedication to presenting real Indian cuisines with friendly service and strong design, this restaurant truly stands out among London's many Indian eateries.
