And finally, we’re closing out the BBQ series with Roo & Zain.
Roo, one half of FIRANGI, joins forces with Zain, currently cooking at ruths.london, for an afternoon of South Asian-inspired cooking over fire.
Firangi has spent the last couple of years making waves with their playful take on South Asian food, bringing together family recipes, traditional techniques and brilliant British produce. Roo and Zain have cooked alongside some of London’s best, and this Sunday they’re bringing their own ideas to the grill at The Prince.
Expect lamb neck with a slow braised and deeply spiced nihari sauce and a basil panna cotta, paired with grilled peach and tamarind. Plenty of cooking over fire and a few things we’re keeping up our sleeves for the day.
We’ll have the BBQ fired up from midday, cold beer flowing and the menu available until it’s gone.
It’s the final Sunday of the series, so if you’ve been meaning to make it down, this is the one.

PRINCE & FRIENDS // NACHO PINILLA
Sunday 16th August · 12–5pm
Next up for the BBQ series is a familiar face.
We first crossed paths with Nacho back when he joined us at The Duke’s Head for a Spanish-inspired pop-up, before welcoming him back to The Prince last February for an offal supper club. Now he’s back again, this time with the BBQ fired up and a whole afternoon ahead of him.
With time spent at The Barbary, The Bull and Last and most recently Arabica London, Nacho brings a love of big flavours, careful cooking and putting good produce to work.
His menu for Sunday moves from chicken liver crostini and smashed cucumber through grilled courgettes, ox heart with beetroot and almonds, pork collar with grilled apricots and chilli, grilled octopus and plenty more.
The BBQ will be fired up from midday, beer will be flowing, and the menu will be available until it’s gone.
Bookings are open via the link in our bio, with space for walk-ins. See you Sunday.
