A happy weekend to you all from Spitalfields market, in the City of London.
Granted a royal charter by King Charles II in 1682, it evolved from a medieval priory site and a 17th-century Huguenot silk-weaving hub into one of London's classic East End wholesale fruit and vegetable markets before shifting to retail in 1991.
Architecturally, it features a signature covered structure with historic iron-and-glass roofing, original brickwork, and public spaces like Bishops Square and Crispin Place.

Holborn Viaduct in the City of London.
A road bridge constructed using red brick, cast iron and granite, it features ornate decorations including winged lions, stone dragons and four female allegorical statues representing agriculture, commerce, fine arts, and science.
Built between 1863 and 1869, the idea was to level out the steep, muddy descent into the Fleet Valley and improve traffic to Smithfield Market.
City surveyor William Haywood was the architect and the engineer supervising the project was Rowland Mason Ordish.
