We’ve barely recovered from the World Cup, but England are back and so are our plans to spend 90 minutes cheering at the screen with a pint in hand.

Showing England v Spain, the UEFA Nations League, on Saturday 26th September at 7:45pm.

Round up the squad and get ready for all the pints, a unified love for the game, and completely unbiased refereeing opinions you’d expect from watching England down the pub. Football, best watched at your local.

One of Notting Hill’s most historic pubs has had a bit of a glow-up.✨

Re-introducing The Champion.

From a boxing ring once sitting in the garden to reportedly being a watering hole for the legendary Freddie Mercury (we have the proof now📸), this is a pub with some proper stories in its walls.

The refurb hasn’t messed with any of that. We’ve simply given the old place a well deserved polish, bringing it up to scratch while keeping all the character that makes The Champion, The Champion.🏆

Our downstairs space, the Mercury room, has been converted to be functional for both normal pub use and be flexible for private hire.

With screens, movable furniture and its own private bar for use. Work do, birthday, big get-together 🎉…you know the drill.

And don’t worry, it’s still very much your local. Come in for fish & chips, pull up a chair for a few pints, round up the mates or finally get date night in the diary. Same Champion spirit. Fresh new look.

To get to Wellington Terrace in London, you can take the Tube and get off at the Lancaster Gate Station or Paddington Station. From there, walk towards Bayswater Road until you reach Wellington Terrace. Alternatively, you can take a bus that passes through Bayswater Road or use a taxi service.

If driving, head towards Paddington and follow signs for Bayswater Road. Wellington Terrace is located off of Bayswater Road. There are pay and display parking bays available on Wellington Terrace and surrounding streets. However, parking may be limited during peak hours.
