The most amazing rose of the 2026
Introducing Charlotte Angela McEvaddy, one of our wonderful London Rose Finalists.
Charlotte currently lives in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, and while she was born in Galway, she moved to England at just four years old, growing up with a strong connection to Ireland that has remained an important part of who she is.
Charlotte attended St John’s Catholic Primary School before moving on to St Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School for her GCSEs, and stayed on at St Joan of Arc Sixth Form to complete her A Levels. She has always embraced leadership and community, and a brilliant random fact about Charlotte is that she was Head Girl at her school, a role she absolutely loved and one that reflects her confidence, warmth, and ability to bring people together.
One achievement Charlotte is particularly proud of is travelling to Kolkata, India in February 2024 with her school and the charity City of Joy Aid, where she spent two weeks at Udayan, an orphanage supporting children affected by leprosy. It was a nerve-racking step at first, leaving family and immersing herself in a completely new culture, but the experience changed her perspective on community and gratitude in a way that has stayed with her ever since. After returning home, Charlotte organised a fundraiser alongside the Head Boy to support Udayan’s Health Unit, raising over £3,000, and she hopes to continue fundraising and to visit again in the future.
Please show Charlotte your support by liking, commenting, and sharing this post, and follow along as the finalists continue their London Rose journey.
