I hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, I must share that Bangladesh is once again facing a severe flood crisis. In recent days, heavy monsoon rains have devastated several regions, leaving thousands of families in urgent need of assistance. The communities in Noakhali, Feni, and Cumilla have been particularly hard hit, with many people losing their homes, access to clean water, and basic necessities.
In the coming weeks, I will be traveling to Bangladesh to provide direct aid to those affected. Last year, I made a similar trip during the 2022 floods, and the support I received from our community here at The Wanstead Kitchen was truly incredible. This time, I would love for us to make an even bigger impact together.
At The Wanstead Kitchen, we celebrate the vibrant flavours and rich heritage of Bangladesh — a country whose villages and towns have been deeply affected by these floods.
