This week, two of our team swapped London for St Lucia. 🌴

Rich and Jose were hosted by the brilliant people at St Lucia Distillers and Mangrove — getting under the skin of the rums we already love and serve at Cabana.
From a full distillery tour following the production process start to finish, to tastings across the Bounty Rum range, Chairman’s Reserve, Admiral Rum and the Marigot Bay cream liqueurs — every day was as educational as it was unforgettable.

Knowing the story behind what we pour makes us better at what we do. And we’re bringing all of it back to the bar.

A huge thank you to the teams at St Lucia Distillers and Mangrove for looking after us so incredibly well.
The warmth, the generosity, the knowledge they shared — it made this trip something truly special.
We couldn’t have been in better hands.

Cabana in Covent Garden is now dog friendly, and it might just be our new favourite spot for a meal out in central London.

From the moment we arrived, Reuben was made to feel so welcome. The staff brought him a bowl of water straight away and were the friendliest hosts, even when he had a few things to say about the wait for dessert.
We ate SO well. Tacos, croquettes, chips, guacamole and tortillas, cornbread, gorgeous cocktails, and then Basque cheesecake and a caramel sundae for dessert. No regrets whatsoever.

It’s a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station, so really easy to get to for dinner with your dog.

Save this one for your next dog friendly date night. 🐾🌮

Don’t judge us, but it’s time to talk about Christmas.

Yes, we know it’s May. But apparently Christmas waits for no one, and neither do Cabana bookings. Some December dates are already fully booked, so if you’re in charge of the Christmas party… this is your gentle warning before it becomes your full panic.

Our festive packages are ready, with two delicious menus to choose from:

Feliz Natal – think Christmas smashed burgers, spicy turkey skewers and festive sundaes.

Natal Tradicional – churrasco turkey, grilled flat iron steak, cauliflower mac & cheese, mini pigs in blankets and all the trimmings, Cabana style.

Plus party platters, buffets, drinks packages, DJs, samba dancers, giant games and photo booths.

Basically, we can do cosy Christmas lunch, full festive fiesta, or “why is Dave from accounts dancing with a samba dancer?”
