THURSDAY 4TH JUNE! Sharon Wanjohi is finally getting her s**t together.
It’s time. I’ve bought some crystals, taken an iron supplement and finally stopped avoiding my taxes.
Will this be enough to undo years of avoidance? My therapist (girl I met in a nightclub toilet years ago) says no but I say yes. Because delusion is the key to success.
Sharon Wanjohi is a q***r British Kenyan comedian, who’s been making waves on the circuit with her take on the lack of Gen-z homeowners and maybe too much material on the cartoons that inspired a generation of sexual awakenings.
She has written on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Late Night Lycett and The Jonathan Ross Show.

Li Jin Hao: Falling From A Moon. WIP.
I’m addicted to time travel. I keep living in the past. I want to go back. Not too far though. Not Pangea. What would I even do there? I could beat a T-rex at rock paper scissors, but he wouldn’t know what was going on. I think these thoughts as I hold a dino nugget in my hand. I think the present feels heavy and the past feels like the moon, where there was less gravity and I was lighter. Meet me on the moon.

WEDNESDAYS 27TH MAY & 22ND JULY! “I’ve always hated period dramas… until I found myself starring in one.
On December 8th 2025, I went in for surgery: an endometriosis diagnostic laparoscopy. I was terrified I was putting myself under the knife for absolutely no reason, not even for a new set of b***s, especially after years of doctors insisting I was “fine”. What followed was the most chaotic, surreal and eventful 48 hours of my life… and the sudden realisation that I probably need checking into the Priory, because I’m seriously addicted to attention. A Period Drama is a stand-up comedy show about my story – and about the quiet, shared experiences women are rarely allowed to laugh about.”

TONIGHT some classic grassroots heritage Indie with
Liverpool Post Punkers The Room joined by Vernons Future and Drunk Keith! for a night of old school indie swagger and majesty!
The Room:
Liverpool post-punk band are back with new music. Formed by Dave Jackson and bassist Becky Stringer, early releases earned support from John Peel, appearance on ‘The Whistle Test’ and production from Television’s Tom Verlaine.
Vernons Future:
Originally forged in the white heat of indie’s golden age in the 80’s, Vernons Future play at the poppier end of the indie spectrum. They think you’ll like their music if you like XTC, Blur, The Bunnymen, Lightning Seeds, The Teardrop Explodes.
Drunk Keith!..
Crystal Palace-based artist, producer, singer and songwriter Keith Robert Haworth who has been creatively active since the 90s and is clearly a man who likes an exclamation mark. Music is quirky stuff. starts off all drifty and punches its way out with deep basslines and snappy melody….?vocals are quasi-theatrical, arrive on the showtime drum and bass of ‘Concrete Jungle’, which comes on like something from a Terry Gilliam film. There’s a darkness here for sure, an edge. It’s like musical theatre dragged down a south-east London back alley for a good kick-in. We look forward to ‘Drunk Keith! The Musical’
