Tim Hopkirk 1957 - 2026
Some customers become regulars and we are very grateful, some become part of the furniture and we are grateful most of the time! but only Tim Hopkirk became our curator, our librarian. He passed away recently and his family have asked us to inform our community of his “After party”
Tim adopted our “Library” some years back and decided it should be a repository for a large collection of antique sewing machines, to this day we do not know why. The machines have moved on but the memories remain.
And Tim for all his unique way remains a supportive Flyer character that many will remember with endearment for years to come.
The journey with Tim wasn’t always easy and he did get banned sadly, but a mutual respect remained between us and him.

The pub and beer bar is located on Victoria Road in Surbiton. For those travelling by public transport, the nearest train station is Surbiton Station. From there, exit the station and turn right onto St. Mark's Hill, then take a left onto Victoria Road. The venue should be on your right-hand side.
For those driving to the venue, there are a few options for parking nearby. There is a pay and display car park on Claremont Road just a couple of minutes' walk away from the venue. Alternatively, there is limited street parking available on surrounding roads such as Avenue Elmers or Maple Road.
