Ever wonder why eel is so popular in Japan? 🇯🇵
Eel, or 'unagi' in Japanese, became popular in the 1600s because of its nutritional value. Rich in vitamin A and vitamin B, eel became a food to help people keep their stamina up during the hot Japanese summers.
