Looking back at this week, we realize: we’re living in total madness, but damn, it’s real and honest.
In just 7 days our Save the Legend: Borscht & Tears campaign raised £250. Not thousands yet, but stitch by stitch, brick by brick, and we know we’ll win this fight. David vs. the Cypriot billionaire, only instead of a sling we’ve got borscht and vodka infusions.

Our landlord, a notorious Cypriot billionaire from Monaco, wants to close the restaurant and erase 60 years of history, music and friendship.

For him, it's just a building. For us, it's a legend, culture and a home for thousands of people.
Borscht & Tears is the oldest restaurant of Russian and Ukrainian cuisine in London, one of the oldest in the world. Here, generations have found friends, love and peace at one table.

Today, we are David versus Goliath. But we are not giving up.
