Jacob the Angel was a charming English coffee house located in Neal's Yard. They offered a variety of homemade hot food, sandwiches, salads and pastries. The café had a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying their delectable treats. Unfortunately, as of March 2020, they have closed permanently.

Our golden triangle!
Mushroom and goat’s cheese stuffed boureka, glazed and topped with sesame seeds. We’re having this with our favourite Asian Kale salad on the side. It’s lunchtime! 🍴🧡

Tahini madeleines with sesame seeds. We like to dip them in our coffee. Freshly baked each morning in our little kitchen down below, they’re on the Jacob counter every day from 8am. 😇

Kale, grilled broccoli, roasted portobello mushrooms, tossed with pickled ginger, sesame seeds and soy sauce. Freshly made in our little kitchen down below. We’re thinking today might just be the day for an outdoor lunch 🥗 ☀️

☕️☕️☕️ Welcoming Rotutu, our first ever coffee from East Timor. Sweet orange notes and a creamy butterscotch texture. According to Cedric, it is perfect for pour overs.

Directions to Neal's Yard in London:

Via public transport: Take the tube to Covent Garden station, exit onto Long Acre Rd, and walk west towards Mercer St. Turn right onto Mercer St and then left onto Neal's Yard.

Via driving/parking: From the east, take A201 or A202 towards Central London until you reach Aldwych. From the west, take A4 towards central London until you reach Trafalgar Square. Follow signs for Covent Garden and park in a nearby car park or on-street parking spot. Walk to Neal's Yard via Monmouth Street or Shorts Gardens.
