Do you agree that: Removing puppies for sale from litter & mum often creates sick, traumatised, dysfunctional dogs. Puppies should be seen with their mum & transporting them to a different place for sale harms welfare. Regulating commercial 3rd party sales is ineffective to prevent harm & a ban is therefore necessary.
If so sign and share this petition.
Think you have already signed? If not in the last two days, you haven't. This is a NEW, specific official petition, created to give Mr Gove all the reassurance in the world that we want a third party ban.
When you've signed it, that's not the end of it, you have to check you inbox and verify the signature by clicking the link.
And, if you really do want to end the suffering of breeding slaves - you need to find new places to share this petition. Are there any local groups on facebook - not necessarily doggie? 1 in 4 of the population own a dog, 80% actively care about dogs even if they don't own them.
You've made a great start - more than 5000 signed in a day and a half. But we want very much more, we want this petition to be overflowing by the time the media spotlight turns on Crufts next week.
This is something that surely we can all agree on, let's unite and push on this one if we each concentrate on sharing it for just fifteen minutes each day, we'd do it.
Get creative, make your posts noticed. Include a meme or a personal story of how terrible life is for pet shop pups or on line impulse pups. Mention Marshall who nearly died or poor Raven, who did. Make people stop and think and realise not only that they care about this, but they can get involved and change things.
Make a huge achievable step for animal welfare.
Be part of history, do your bit - get sharing and get this done. Your dog will be so proud of you.
