❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You from All of Us at Lorenzo ❤️
Since announcing that Lorenzo will be closing its doors on Sunday 22nd November, we have been completely overwhelmed by the incredible response.

The hundreds of beautiful messages, comments, memories and kind words have genuinely touched our hearts. We never imagined just how much Lorenzo has meant to so many people over the past 41 years. ❤️

It has also been so lovely to see so many familiar faces returning to the restaurant this weekend, alongside new customers, all showing such wonderful support, kindness and emotion.

Please forgive us if we haven’t managed to respond to everyone personally. We have been inundated with messages, and the restaurant has been incredibly busy, so we’ve been doing what we’ve always done best — looking after our customers!

After 41 years of serving this wonderful community, your response has reminded us just how special Lorenzo has been, not only to our family but to so many of you.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, your memories and your continued support.

We still have a few weeks together, and we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible before we close this chapter.

❤️ THE END OF AN ERA – AFTER 41 WONDERFUL YEARS, LORENZO IS SAYING GOODBYE ❤️

A heartfelt message from the Lorenzo family.

After 41 wonderful years serving the Crystal Palace community, it is with great sadness that we announce Lorenzo will close its doors for the final time on Sunday 22 November 2026.

Since opening in 1985, Lorenzo has been so much more than a restaurant. It has been our family’s life, bringing generations together over good food, special occasions and countless memories.

We have been honoured to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and family occasions with you, watching children grow up and return with families of their own.

Sadly, rising costs and the challenges facing independent restaurants have made it increasingly difficult to continue. Despite our dedication, we have made the heartbreaking decision to close.

As our founder, Lorenzo, celebrates his 88th birthday this November, we feel it is time for him to enjoy a slower pace of life and spend precious time with his family.

To all our wonderful customers, past and present, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your loyalty, friendship and support have meant everything to us. You have become more than customers — you have become friends.

The End of an Era – After 41 Wonderful Years, Lorenzo Is Saying Goodbye

A heartfelt message from the Lorenzo family
After 41 wonderful years serving the Crystal Palace community, it is with great sadness that we announce Lorenzo will be closing its doors for the final time on Sunday 22 November 2026.

Since opening in 1985, Lorenzo has been so much more than just a restaurant. It has been our family's life, a place where generations of families and friends have come together to enjoy good food, celebrate special occasions and create lasting memories.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of being part of countless birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and family celebrations. We have watched children grow up, return with families of their own, and become familiar faces around our tables.

Sadly, the hospitality industry has faced increasingly difficult times. Rising operating costs, financial pressures and the changing challenges of running an independent restaurant have made it increasingly difficult for businesses like ours to continue. Despite our family's dedication and determination, these pressures have ultimately led us to make the heartbreaking decision to close.

Our founder, Lorenzo, will also be celebrating his 88th birthday this November. Having devoted so much of his life to the restaurant, we feel that now is the time for him to enjoy a slower pace of life and spend more precious time with his family.

Although this has been an incredibly difficult decision, we are immensely proud of everything our family has achieved over the past four decades. What began in 1985 became a much-loved part of the Crystal Palace community, and that is something we will always treasure.

To our wonderful customers, past and present, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your loyalty, friendship and support have meant the world to us. Many of you have become more than customers; you have become friends, and we will always be grateful for the memories we have shared.

To reach Westow Hill in London, you can take the train or bus to Crystal Palace station. From there, it's a short walk up Westow Hill to the restaurants.

If you're driving, there are several parking options nearby, including street parking and a few paid car parks in the area. Please note that parking can be limited during peak times.

Alternatively, if you prefer public transport, you can take the number 3 bus from Brixton or the number 249 bus from Anerley station. Both of these buses stop near Westow Hill and will drop you off within walking distance of the restaurants.
