Hi everyone,
As Remembrance Sunday approaches, we’re looking to create something really special at The Railway Tavern.
We would love to put together a Remembrance Wall in the pub to honour and pay our respects to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, both past and present.
We’re reaching out to ask if anyone would be willing to donate a regimental plaque to be proudly displayed on our wall.
Whether you’ve served yourself, are currently serving, or have a family connection to the Armed Forces, we would be honoured to have your regiment represented.
Our aim is to create a lasting tribute, not just for Remembrance Sunday, but something that will remain in the pub all year round as a mark of respect and gratitude to those who have served and continue to serve our country.
If anyone would like to contribute a plaque, please get in touch.

Just a quick heads up — Due to a planned water outage at the pub, we won't be open until 1pm this Sunday.
We'll have the doors open and the taps back on from 1pm onwards, ready for your Sunday pint.

🍺 WE’VE MADE IT INTO THE CAMRA GOOD B**R GUIDE 2027! 🍺
We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that The Railway Tavern Carshalton has been featured in CAMRA’s Good B**r Guide 2027! 🎉🍻
When we took over the pub just 8 weeks ago, we were told that new landlords would normally need to have been running a pub for 12 months before being considered for inclusion.
But after receiving such fantastic feedback from CAMRA and local customers over the last 8 weeks, an exception was made and we’ve been included in the 2027 guide! 🤩
To be recognised alongside some of the finest pubs in the UK, with over 45,000 pubs in Britain and around 4,500 featured in the guide, is something we genuinely couldn’t be happier about.
This means so much to us, especially after all the hard work that has gone into making The Railway Tavern a great local pub again.
A HUGE thank you to all our amazing customers, regulars, staff, friends and everyone who has supported us since we took over. ❤️

🎉 Massive Congratulations to Rob Angelo! 🎉
What an incredible achievement! Rob has successfully completed the Thames Path Ultra Challenge 50k hike in support of the Alzheimer's Society – all just one day before turning 60! 👏🏅
This wasn't just a test of endurance; it was a fantastic effort to raise money for a cause that means so much to so many people. Alzheimer's Society continues to provide vital support for people living with dementia and their families, as well as funding research to help create a better future.
Rob has earned that finisher's medal (and that well-deserved pint! 🍺), but there's still time to help him reach his fundraising target.
