This one is personal. 🦒🦒🍧

This year has been full of more ups and downs than I ever expected. Hurdles I didn’t see coming. Waiting that tested my patience. Moments where I genuinely didn’t know what was next.

But we kept going.

Last summer I took the Two Little Giraffes gelato bike to Battersea Power Station and the community showed up in a way that meant everything to me. This year things took much longer than planned. There were setbacks. There were delays. There were days where the bike sat outside the café and I wondered when its moment would come.

That moment is here. 🍧

have granted us a permanent trading contract on the Embankment near the river until the end of September.

To everyone who has supported us, believed in us and asked where the bike was this is for you.

Last weekend we opened our doors to the community of Nine Elms for a free photo shoot hosted by a local photographer whose journey we are so proud to be part of.

Strangers became neighbours. Neighbours became friends. Everyone left with a smile, a photo and some gelato. The kind of afternoon that reminds you why where you live matters. 🍧

There is a lot that goes into making our sorbets that most people never see. Every flavour starts long before we get to the kitchen.

This relationship started organically right here in our community and has grown into a genuine friendship over the years. is a huge part of how we work trialling and testing seasonal fruits and always pointing us in the right direction. Every month we open our walls to a local artist completely free of charge. No cost. No commission. Just a real space in a real neighbourhood for real creative work to be seen and celebrated.

This is a day in the life of Two Little Giraffes 🦒☀️
From the early morning hours handcrafting fresh gelato from scratch to serving our incredible Battersea community.

A customer walked in and asked Niko to bring back a piece of their childhood. So Niko did what Niko does.
He reinvented the classic ice cream float and created something nobody saw coming 😂

A Kola Gelato Float 🥤🍨
One part nostalgia
One part madness

One hundred percent made with love ❤️ was Niko impressed with himself?. Not exactly 😂🤣
Did we make it happen anyway?. Of course.

There is something really special about being able to take someone back to a moment in their childhood through food even if that moment involves a Kola float 😂❤️
