CAME BY CAB? CHIPS ON US 🚕🐟
When we opened in 2015, it was London's black cab drivers who put us on the map – dropping hungry passengers at our door and popping in for a fish supper between fares.
From today, almost a kilometre of Oxford Street goes traffic-free and cabs can no longer use it. So we're doing what good neighbours do and standing by them.

Meet Dimi, our Knightsbridge General Manager. Two years ago, a little thing called The Mayfair Chippy Knightsbridge became a big part of his story. 👋
Having worked his way through kitchens, restaurants and private members’ clubs, Dimi thought he knew hospitality. Then came The Mayfair Chippy, and suddenly it was about more than just great food. It was about the people, the shared vision and building something from the ground up.
Alongside Luca, Santosh, Jamie and Pete, he helped bring the Knightsbridge project to life. Countless hours, plenty of hard work and a whole lot of passion later, here we are.
Two years on, still building, still learning and still making it happen. And yes, there have probably been a few fish and chips along the way. 😆🐟🍟

Meet Luca, our Group General Manager. Italy to London, from pubs to fine dining, he's basically done it all. ✅
His hospitality journey started in Italy before London stole his heart (relatable 😉). Since then he's worked his way up through pubs and restaurants of every kind, picking up tricks along the way and never settling for "good enough."
For Luca, this industry has never just been a job. It's the food, the drinks, the buzz in the room and, above all, the people who make it happen.
Then came the chance to join The Mayfair Chippy's vision alongside Santosh, building something rooted in great food, great hospitality and great people.
And that's how this next chapter kicked off: Luca, doing what he loves, surrounded by the people who make this industry worth showing up for every day. 🙌

- From Bond Street Station, take the north exit and walk down Oxford Street towards Marble Arch. Turn right onto North Audley Street.
- From Oxford Circus Station, take the west exit onto Oxford Street and turn left. Walk towards Marble Arch and turn right onto North Audley Street.

- From the A40, turn onto Park Lane and continue straight until you reach Marble Arch. Turn left onto Oxford Street, then take the first right onto North Audley Street.
