NEWS!! Unfortunately Newhvn and HAAL can no longer play tomorrow.

Note from the band -

“Due to unforeseen circumstances - our van breaking down in Europe - we’ve made the call to cancel our upcoming tour. We’re very sorry about this, but we can’t make the dates without taking on a huge financial risk. Ticket refunds will be available from your point of purchase.”

HOWEVER, the show will go on with the one remaining act - BULB, plus new faves Babe, Maddison Windfarm and Wazlo. All tickets are still valid - and partially refunded.

FRI: You Wanted a Party? is back at The George Tavern for one last time this year with live sets by YWAP favs Cape Orange + debutants Lifeloose (^ pictured here back in April 📸 .fsh) and a classic YWAP DJ set by Jøseph.

SAT: Bathtime Sounds curates another afternoon of the most exciting bands bubbling up to the surface of this country's indie scene, Kissing Gate, Ike Goldman, May June and Joel Whitaker. Peppered throughout and afterwards will be majestic vinyl selections from Skydaddy and other Bathtime DJs.

Another year that our trusty local & regular George bands rise up to deliver the best performances of their lives in the guise of all their favourite artists for a whole week of HALLOWEEN. Forget what you think "tribute bands" are... this is our biggest & proudest event of the year. (If you don't believe us see yesterday's post)

To get to Commercial Road in London, you have several options for public transport:

1. By Tube: Take the District or Hammersmith & City Line to Aldgate East station. From there, it's a short walk to Commercial Road.

2. By Bus: Various bus routes serve Commercial Road, including numbers 15, 115, and 135. Check the Transport for London website or app for the most convenient bus route from your location.

3. By DLR (Docklands Light Railway): If you're coming from Canary Wharf or other areas served by the DLR, you can take it to Shadwell station and then walk to Commercial Road.

If you prefer driving or need parking options:

1. From central London: Take the A11 towards Whitechapel Road and continue onto Commercial Road. There are paid parking lots available along Commercial Road and nearby side streets.

2. From east London: Take the A13 towards Limehouse Link Tunnel and exit onto The Highway/A1203. Continue on The Highway until you reach Commercial Road.
