This is where I grew up back in the days as a young man. 133 Wendover, thurlow street SE17. I used to make trips to the Elephant and Castle shopping centre just to hang out or go to the cinema (coronet) back when it was nice and posh. The cinema opposite it was also not too bad but the building was a little dystopian. This building is now being demolished. Elephant and Castle has never let me go even after my travels around the world, I somehow ended up back where I started.

If you're using public transport, you can take the tube to Borough station and then walk southeast on Borough High Street towards Trinity Street. Turn right onto Trinity Street and left onto Queen Elizabeth Street. Continue straight until you reach London Road SE1.

If you're driving, from Elephant and Castle roundabout, take the A3 toward Kennington. Turn right at the lights onto Newington Butts (A215) and continue straight on this road until it becomes Borough High Street. Make a left turn onto Trinity Square and continue straight onto Alice St. Turn right onto London Rd/ A201.

There is limited street parking available in the area but there are also several nearby pay-and-display car parks such as Snowsfields NCP Car Park or The Grange Car Park.
