Some of our chefs enjoyed a day at one of our farm suppliers in Sussex, delayed from sun and 35 degrees, high Summer in Spring, to a rainy day in June.

Made to be useful, from weeding and sowing, to picking and gathering.

Wonderful ingredients which usually come in daily to us here, organic, free of any unnatural substances, in a wonderfully natural environment, just as we like it. Harvested in the early hours, with us by early morning. A joy to work with.

Farming, with traditional values as we remember it. Happy to be small, happy to be surrounded by nature, happy to work within what nature is willing to give, with uncompromising standards.
