If you are travelling by public transport, take the Tube to Devons Road Station. From there, head towards the west exit and turn left onto Violet Road. Walk down the road for about 5 minutes until you reach a junction with two pedestrian crossings. Cross the road and you will find the pub on your right-hand side.
If you are driving, take the A12 towards London and exit at Bow Interchange. Follow the signs for Devons Road and turn onto St Paul's Way. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Violet Road where you will find some on-street parking available. The pub is located just past the junction with two pedestrian crossings on your left-hand side.
Please note that these directions may not be accurate for other pubs in the area but should help customers locate The Angel of Bow specifically.

According to a recent review in The Guardian (published on July 15, 2021), The Angel of Bow is described as "a solid, no-nonsense boozer with an impressive array of local beers and ciders." The reviewer praised the pub's atmosphere and friendly staff. However, they noted that the food could use some improvement.
A review in Time Out London (published on June 23, 2021) gave The Angel of Bow a four-star rating. The writer commented on the pub's stylish decor and impressive selection of craft beers. They recommended the Sunday roast and also highlighted the pub's vegan options.
On TripAdvisor, one customer review from August 2nd, 2021 praised the outdoor seating area at The Angel of Bow, saying it was perfect for summer evenings. Another review from July 5th, 2021 stated that the food was "incredible" and that staff were particularly welcoming.
