Red mullet are just the best aren’t they?

Butterflied, cooked on the coals. I tried it myself the other day, and as you can imagine I’ve eaten a lot of fish, was maybe my favourite piece of fish I’ve ever eaten. Big claim. Such a nice subtle flavour with mullet, nice semi firm texture, so good.

I’m so proud of what our team has achieved since we re-launched Applebee’s. It was a chance to take everything we’d learnt over 25 years as an independent family business and create something we’re genuinely proud of. Being named in .co.uk’s top 100 restaurants in London in our first year back was the icing on the cake.

To celebrate, we created a five-course tasting menu of our greatest hits — and it’s proven extremely popular.

- Beef, oyster & Guinness tartare
- Brown crab rarebit
- Grilled diver scallop with pancetta & cheddar crumb
- Shellfish risotto
- Sticky toffee pavlova (my absolute favourite)

The menu is £45 and it’s only running until the end of March and exclusively available by booking via here or WhatsApp - message us to secure your spot

I was asked to pull together my favourite dishes from the past year. Harder than it sounds.

These are all new additions since the re-launch:
Beef & oyster tartare.
Brown crab rarebit.
Scallops, three ways.
Sticky toffee pavlova (…I ate too many and I can feel it).

And one old favourite (not pictured) is coming back.
The OG lobster risotto. Very soon.

I was asked to pull together a menu of my favourite dishes from the past year. Harder than it sounds.

These are all new additions since the re-launch:

Sticky toffee pavlova (…I ate too many and I can feel it).

And the OG (not pictured) lobster risotto, might be making a comeback, very soon.
