It always starts with “just a few people round” and before you know it the drinks are out, and everyone’s fully invested from kick off to final whistle.
Best to have the food sorted so you’re not off on a kitchen run when the pressure’s on… no one wants to miss a last minute penalty!

To get to Darlington Gardens in Romford through public transport, take a train or bus to Romford station. From here, you can walk for about 15 minutes towards Market Place, then turn left onto Victoria Road. Walk until you reach the intersection with St Edwards way and turn right. Continue on this road until you see Darlington Gardens on your left.
For those driving, take the A12 towards Romford and exit at A118 towards Stratford. Follow signs for A1251 and enter the roundabout. Take the third exit onto Whalebone Lane N/A124, turn left at St Edward's Way/B175, then left again onto Darlington Gardens. Parking in the area is limited but there are pay-and-display parking spaces available nearby.
