Folc’s Pinot Noir Rosé, produced and bottled in England, is the perfect accompaniment for the English summer… best enjoyed in your nearest Fuller’s garden. As part of our English Wine Month celebrations, you can buy a small glass of any English Wine for £7.50 throughout June.
Plus, working with brands such as .folc – who have developed more lightweight packaging while working hard to promote soil health and biodiversity as part of their winemaking philosophy – means we can offer you delicious wine that has less impact on the planet.

Father’s Day is coming up, and this feels like a very good reason to get the table booked.
New on the menu: lamb chops with salsa verde. Rich, bright, beautifully simple, and exactly the sort of plate Dad might quietly approve of before finishing every last bit.

Summer drinks, terrace tables and a little bit of shade.
This is the sort of afternoon we love here. Cold pints, bright spritzes, citrusy summer serves and something colourful in the glass, all shared around the table with the windows open and the river just outside.
Find a spot on the terrace, enjoy the sunshine without sitting right under it, and let the afternoon stretch out a little. 💛

This is exactly the kind of lunch the window seats were made for.
Pan roasted gnocchi with caponata vegetables, bringing colour, warmth and a lovely little taste of spring to the table.
And honestly, how beautiful is that backdrop? 💛

***Please share!***
Someone has stolen one of Fiona’s beloved ducks, Belle. Please share and help us bring her home.
Fiona bought Belle and Daphney when she first arrived at the Bell & Crown over 10 years ago. Since then, Belle has become part of pub life here, quietly watching over guests, staff, and probably collecting more stories than most of us.
If anyone local happens to spot her, we’d be so grateful to see her safely waddled home.
Let’s help bring this Bell & Crown legend back where she belongs. 🦆💛
