IT MIGHT BE BOILING OUT THERE... ☀️🔥
..but that doesn't stop Chef Scott from tinkering, tasting and dreaming up new dishes in the kitchen.
They do say only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun. We're not sure where chefs fit into that equation, but spending hours over a hot stove on a day like today probably qualifies.
Thankfully, the results are worth it.

A rare sighting indeed... Chef Scott sitting down.
Some are calling it a well-earned break. Others are calling it the calm before the storm.
With Father's Day tomorrow, the kitchen is about to shift up a few gears as we get ready for a very busy day of roasts, steaks, good wine and family celebrations.
So if you spot Scott looking relaxed today, enjoy the moment. It probably won't last long 😉
Here's to all the dads tomorrow - we'll have the tables set, the ovens fired up and the coffee ready for those who need it.

Father's Day is one of our busiest days of the year, and we'd love to help make it a Sunday lunch to remember.
Whether Dad's idea of heaven is a perfectly cooked roast, a generous sharing board, a glass of something special, or simply gathering the family around one table without having to wash up afterwards, we've got him covered.
We'll be serving our full Sunday menu alongside some rather indulgent specials, all in true Scott's style.
A small note on bookings: we're asking for a £10 per person deposit to secure Father's Day reservations. We know it's not the most exciting part of hospitality, but unfortunately big occasions often bring a number of no-shows, and in the current climate that's something independent restaurants simply can't absorb.
We hope you understand, and we promise we'll do everything we can to make it worth it.

It's Friday, the weather's threatening to improve, and we're taking that as a sign to make plans.
On the fish front, we've got some absolutely beautiful halibut in this evening from FISHY BUSINESS.
