This morning Emma presented us with this perfect, miniature world of Ginger & White. She made our day and we still cannot get over it. The level of detail is like nothing we have seen before - the Ginger and White window, our cups, our T-shirts, the shelves, the food… even the feeling somehow made it in there. You have to zoom in to believe it!
Emma is also the kindest person. made her wedding cake back in our Primrose Hill days and she wanted to create something in return 🫠
This was so generous and she is clearly someone who pours so much love into what she makes.

From Christmas Eve through to New Year, our doors are open and we’re here with coffee, scrambled eggs, the best banana bread, protein shakes and pastries baked onsite throughout the day.
Before we owned Ginger & White, we remember a real sense of unease (anxiety is maybe too strong a word!) knowing Ginger wasn’t an option on Christmas Day.
Now with the most incredible team in the world, we get to bring a little Christmas cheer to Hampstead and spend time with friends and customers who truly feel like family.
We’re here if you’re on your own, in between plans or just want some warmth and normality. We have always been about community, comfort and those small everyday moments… especially at this time of year.

Meet Macchiato, our hand-crocheted bulldog teddy who’s just landed from South Africa. He is already making himself right at home at Ginger & White 🐾
Made with love by - a young woman supporting her family and putting her brothers through school. We fell in love the moment we saw him and brought him to Hampstead to be our new mascot.
He’s soft, squishy and stitched with soul. 🧶💫

✨ Hampstead is a village of brilliance - from the poets and painters who once lived here to our amazing community who still gather over dippy eggs, pastries and the very best coffee.
You’ve probably spotted the famous blue plaques around our neighbourhood with the from John Constable and George Orwell to John Keats and Sir Henry Dale.
Now, in our own little corner of there’s a plaque just for you. Try a sneaky wall sit while you sip your coffee - because brilliance doesn’t only belong to the past, it lives here and now ☕️❤️

Let’s move Hampstead! Join us on Sunday 11th May for the launch of the Ginger & White x Perfect Ted Run Club — a free, good-vibes-only 5K at an easy pace. No pressure, no PBs — just a crew of locals getting their steps in and their energy up.
We meet at 10AM outside Ginger & White (4A - 5A Perrin’s Ct, NW3 1QS) and end with the ultimate reward: free matcha + a protein ball on us.

We are open everyday over the holiday season including Christmas Day.
We started this tradition 5 years ago as some of our team don’t have family in London. They wanted to be together and to spend Christmas with familiar faces.
The holidays can be a joyful time, but they can also be challenging for many and no one should feel alone. Whether you just need a flat white and dippy eggs or you’re looking for a warm space to connect with others… we’re here.

Today is five years since Gili and I took a leap of faith and bought our favourite coffee shop. We didn’t dream that Ginger and White would become our Blue Zone of Hampstead. We couldn’t have imagined that this little cafe would have such an impact on so many lives.
We have loved the challenge and as we grow, we will always stay true to our roots and the vision created by Tonia, Nick and Emma. We take no shortcuts, oversee every decision and change is always underpinned by quality.
We love the ability to be creative, it permeates into everything we do and allows everyone to make their mark! Over the past year, we have launched everything from Espresso Martinis, and Palomas to Croissant Cookies, Turkish Eggs and Blueberry Matcha Latte’s. We created Ginger at the Window, our take away hatch and in September 2024 we will expand into our brand new bakery unit.
What hasn’t changed is our unbeatable team. This very special group of people are truly friends who are family. Each individual person is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of Ginger and White. Together they are unstoppable!
From a young age, my grandfather Charles reminded me that “No man is an island.” This is from a beautiful poem by John Donne and conveys the message that no-one is self-sufficient and highlights the reliance we have on one another.
Ginger and White stands as a testament to this power of community. We have made so many genuine friendships and you are all why we wake up in the morning. We celebrate connection, from impromptu catch-ups to heartfelt conversations. It is pretty unique to be able to see all your friends in one place in one morning! We are eternally grateful to each and every one of you.
Winston Churchill once remarked that “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
Thank you for supporting us and for being a part of this journey. We will continue to spread as much happiness as we can, one cup of coffee at a time!

Calling all little (or big!) artists. Give your mum an extra special Mother’s Day gift at G&W this year.
Purchase one of our iconic take away cups and take it home to decorate. We will have some stickers in store too.
Give it to mum on Mother’s Day and we will fill it with her choice of any coffee.
