Tonight at The Old Blue Last! 💥

Earth Tongue are a Wellington-born duo known for their fuzz-heavy sound and mind-expanding live shows. They will perform at King Gizzard’s Field of Vision festival in Colorado and Levitation in Austin in 2026.
After touring with Queens of the Stone Age, Ty Segall, Hällas and The Scientists—and appearing at Dark Mofo—the duo return with Dungeon Vision, their third album. Produced by Ty Segall and recorded live to tape in Los Angeles, the album captures Earth Tongue’s raw chemistry through fuzz guitars, pounding drums and haunting vocals. Their previous album, Great Haunting, earned them the 2025 Best Group award and a Taite Music Prize nomination.

Ushering in a new era, Earth Tongue lowered the castle gates with their 2026 album, Dungeon Vision. Produced by garage rock hero Ty Segall in Los Angeles, the record captures the duo’s live intensity with sludge guitars, bone-battering drums, and tuneful vocals, all recorded live and direct to tape at Altamira Sound. Their collaboration with Ty, whom they previously supported on tour, brought a new dimension to their music. Band and producer were particular about finding the right sound, and that’s apparent on listening, as the album’s twelve tracks offer a feast of wonderfully scuffed and scuzzy riffage. Dungeon Vision was recorded and mixed in just 10 days—a testament to the band’s drive and ability, and a process that infused the album with urgency and adrenaline.

Dungeon Vision is the much anticipated follow up to 2024’s Great Haunting (In The Red), a record written during the pandemic lockdown era while holed up binging on 1970’s and 80’s horror movies. Their love of B-movies also runs through their self-produced music videos, which are steeped in Giallo tropes; from melted candles to sacrificial daggers. Great Haunting was met with critical acclaim and saw Earth Tongue win the 2025 Aotearoa Music Award for Best Group, along with a nomination for the prestigious 2025 Taite Music Prize.

Located on the ground floor, the Red Room is the perfect space for smaller, private parties, accommodating up to 25 people.
