We are one of London’s most established fish restaurants and we are looking for experienced waiters and waitresses to join our team in Bloomsbury.
North Sea has been serving guests since 1977. We hold the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2025 and we are proud of the warm and professional service we deliver every day. What we are looking for
Someone who is friendly, reliable and confident in a busy restaurant environment. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. A genuine love of hospitality matters more to us than a long CV.

Nine king prawns. Pan-fried with garlic and chilli. That is it 🦐
No shortcuts on the prawns they come in fresh every morning along with the rest of our fish from Billingsgate Market.
If you have never had king prawns done this way you are missing something very simple and very good. The garlic catches in the pan. The chilli lifts it. The prawns are juicy and generous.

For public transport, the closest underground station to Leigh Street is Tottenham Court Road Station on the Central and Northern lines. From there, you can take bus number 29 towards Wood Green or bus number 24 towards Hampstead Heath and get off at the stop for Grafton Way / Warren Street. Leigh Street is just a short walk from there.
If you're driving, be aware that parking in this area can be difficult. There are some metered parking spots on Grafton Way and nearby streets, but they may be limited in availability. Alternatively, there are several paid car parks in the surrounding area, including Euro Car Parks on Whitfield Street.
