Carnaby street…. Here we come !
Petare was a beloved Venezuelan restaurant located on Brixton Station Road. The restaurant was renowned for providing an authentic Venezuelan food experience, and had won accolades such as the Time Out Top 50 Best Street Food and Kerb's Bucket List in 2017. Petare's signature dish, El Leopardo, a sweet corn arepa filled with breaded and deep-fried chashu pork belly, sesame pepper sauce, scotch bonnet bamboo shoots, hispi cabbage, tonkatsu sauce, fried garlic, spring onions and parmesan cheese was much-loved by customers. Unfortunately, Petare has been permanently closed.

From Brixton Station Road, walk to Brixton Station and take the Victoria Line northbound towards Walthamstow Central. Get off at the second stop at Stockwell Station and transfer to the Northern Line southbound towards Morden. Get off at Clapham North Station and Petare is a short walk away.
Option 2 - Driving/Parking:
From Brixton Station Road, follow B221 westbound towards Acre Lane. Turn right on A23 northbound and continue straight until Clapham North Station. Turn left onto Bedford Road, then right onto Clapham High Street. Turn left onto Voltaire Road and the destination will be on your left.
There are several parking options nearby including Pay & Display street parking or Clapham North car park located on Fenwick Place, SW4 7BN.
